An ASA-DGS Joint Venture

Two highly respected leading companies, from opposite sides of the globe, have combined forces in a joint venture business to manufacture screw caps for both the Australian & New Zealand Wine Industry. Anthony Smith Australasia (ASA), a key supplier to the Australian Wine Industry for 30 years, bring their significant global marketing network and vast Australian manufacturing experience to the table. This meshes perfectly with the enviable industry expertise and technology of DGS, a renowned Polish screw cap producer and screw cap machinery manufacturer. DGS are currently the third largest screw cap manufacturer in the world – with aggressive expansion strategies currently underway, globally. For the past 15 years, DGS has developed a reputation for unrivalled print expertise and product quality - predominantly serving the European beverage industry. Together these complementary organizations have combined world-class technology and significant screw cap manufacturing experience, with well-developed wine industry knowledge and a strong customer and marketing focus. ASA-DGS Pty Ltd was born in 2005 and commenced manufacture of the 30x60mm aluminium ScrewCapp in Adelaide, South Australia, during January 2006.
